A custom portrait of your pet (all animals welcome)!
The portrait will be painted in gouache on birch or basswood. Picture wire will be installed on the back, allowing the painting to be hung on a wall.
CUSTOM - Painted Pet Portrait
The Process:
1. Make your payment on this page.
2. Email me at sagekcotignola@gmail.com with 1-3 images of your pet. Make sure the facial features are clearly visible!
3. Feel free to include color preferences in your email. If you have any additonal requests, feel free to share!
4. I will email you a pencil sketch of the portrait for your approval. Please allow up to two weeks for me to create your sketch. At this time, you will have an opportunity to request a round of edits to the image. If you change your mind and need addtional changes, you will be charged $15 per additional change.
5. After the sketch is approved, I will work on the finished painted piece. Please allow up to three weeks for me to work on your custom artwork. I will send you a jpg of the image for your approval. Because this is an original gouache painting, major changes are not possible at this point in the process. Please be sure to request changes during the sketch phase.
6. After the painting is approved, I will promptly ship out your painting. Enjoy!
As this is a custom piece, there are no refunds or returns once the portrait is approved.
In the unlikely event you'd like to cancel this service before the portrait is finished, you may be refunded up to half of the fee depending on how much work has been done.
It's always my goal to work with you to create something you are proud to display. If you have any concerns during the process, please email me as soon as possible at sagekcotignola@gmail.com so I can address them in a timely manner.
Artwork will be shipped within 3 business days of final approval. Please allow yourself plenty of time for your artwork to arrive during major holidays.
Artwork will be packed securely and with care in acid-free tissue paper, a waterproof sleeve and the appropriate cushioning. Please email me at sagekcotignola@gmail.com if artwork has been damaged in-transit.
Your package will be shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS depending on size. You will receive shipping information for your package following the date of shipment.
